Interview Tips
- Preparation is the key to a successful interview, prior to interview
you need to know the following details :
- Background of the company and business structure
- Background information on the interviewers and their role
within the company
- The essential criteria for the position.
- The main responsibilities of the position.
- The culture of the company and the personality type they
are seeking.
Use the information above to prepare a summary of your experience
and relate it back to each of the points above.
- If you are uncomfortable at interviews or just a little out
of practice, ask your 3S consultant for a specific role play to
get you into the swing of an interview.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm during interview is essential.
Remember until a role is offered to you, you are in the position
of selling your positive contribution to a potential employer.

- What are the challenges of this position, if any ?
- What are the primary responsibilities ?
- Is there a formal training program ?
- Is there opportunity for career advancement ?
An important question to ask an interview prior to the conclusion
of an interview is :
Do you feel that there is anything which will prevent me from doing this job ?
If the answer is yes and you feel you have not demonstrated this skill sufficiently this is your opportunity to put the interviewers' concerns to rest.
